Probably good reasons for not pursuing, but 2016 #60 rsci power forward Mathew Moyer is transferring from Syracuse. Also, 2016 #64 James Banks is transferring from Texas. Might scare off Okoro, and either would have to sit a year, to play two. Most years we would probably be interested.

I don't think anyone is scaring off Okoro. Production = playing time and I think Okoro knows he can produce.

I’m inclined to believe that too, but this recruiting season sure makes me nervous. If MU ends up getting Ramey, I don’t know how I’ll feel about this staff. Now with Mack going to Pitt, I’m sure they’ll become a major recruiting adversary. Xavier was always tough going H to H, but I’m sure over time could be even tougher. With me the verdict is still out on the recruiting. Had some great wins, but overall, I’m meh.

...and you would know that Ramey's interest isn't real exactly how?
I'll admit I think it's unlikely given all the circumstances, but if he is showing interest I don't see how you don't keep trying. He would be a huge addition if we got him. IMO we instantly become a contender to make the tourney.

I would be surprised. We've have two HS bigs committed, will pursue a fifth year, and have two very important bigs targeted in '19.

Would agree, normally and maybe up to a month ago, we would have been interested once again. Cant see that happening now with both Kane and Georgi in the fold. Both are 3 stars same as Lukas.

They will with Ebo tide us over until we hopefully get Okoro/Liddell or another higher rated wing/big next year.

That stings. Great for them, if C Edwards comes back, they will be pretty good again.

This is exactly how I feel as well. Gotta try until he says no.

Yes......if Ramey is sending signals that he's legitimately interested, we pursue.

But if he's that interested, at some point he needs to schedule a visit. Right?

Unless he schedules a visit, I'm working off the assumption that we are some sort of back up contingency, but by no means one of the leaders.

Has he scheduled a visit to anyone yet?

He'll fit perfectly into their regressive style of play on both ends.

Not sour grapes. I'm glad he didn't end up here.

Iirc he only has two, maybe three, visits left sync he used sme earlier before committing to Louisville.

Probably being very careful in choosing visits.

Well he can unofficially visit however many he'd like. To me, this is logical given his close proximity to UIUC anyways. Using official visits on places like Texas, OSU, etc. makes more sense. Wouldnt complain if we were one of his officials though.
