Good get. Am assuming Antigua was Kane's lead recruiter, correct? Hopefully, Kane will flourish under Antigua's and Fletch's tutelage. Another big plus: Ebo has a "sparring" partner now. Should work out well for both.

Someone previously posted being a close friend of the Finke's grandfather for 45 years. They mentioned grandpa said Micheals staying an Illini. If that source is legit then that's great news. I think we need Micheals game for his Senior season

Welcome Samba. Block/alter some shots next year. Dunk a few lobs. And like most freshman bigs, commit a lot of fouls.

Samba Kane is rated a 83 four star in the class of 2019 or about Top 75 recruit. Fits more of an Egwu type mold, but at this point I personally like his footwork better. Antigua finally landing a big recruit.

This is funny considering someone just said he was not going to commit because his foster parent wanted him to visit other places for comparison sake (or something like that). Hopefully it was that good of a visit....and it effects Jones the same way!

If Finke stays, I wouldn't expect him to start. I think he's coming off the bench either as a 4 to replace Leron, or to allow Leron to move to the 3 if need be due to match ups.

As of right now, I'd speculate our starting lineup next year to be:

Ebo
Leron
Kipper
Trent
Te'jon/Ayo/DaMonte

If Te'Jon stays, I think he may start at the beginning of the season, mainly for his defense.

Ebo may start over Finke, but I wouldn’t bet on it unless he makes big strides in his offensive game.

I definitely don’t see Leron ever playing the 3. That would be asking for even more foul trouble.

Ebo is gonna get A LOT better this summer with a legit 7 footer to practice against.

Trent - Tejon
Ayo - Damonte
Kipper - AJ
Leron - Finke
Ebo - Samba

How I see it right now, and that's a pretty strong bench.
