Here's an article about it.
I still think Okoro is leaning Orange and Blue. I'm no insider. Just my gut.
Just reading the tea leaves... seems like Okoro knows enough about Illinois from previous visits to make his decision. Thats what he's doing now and why this visit stuff is so opaque. If he visits this week then he already made up his mind to be an Illini. If he's planning to go somewhere else whats he going to see on an unofficial in May to sway him? If they really wanted that last chance to wine and dine him they should have saved an OV. That's a mistake I don't care how much you rationalize saying he's been here 3 or 4 times before.
Cage's transfer is not a factor in Okoro recruitment, the Ducks had an opening prior to today's announcement.

Nobody really knows where he is going. My guess is as good as the next guy. Keep on guessing
Is no news bad news in the case of Okoro?

Two crystal balls for Oregon yesterday...
I’ve never been confident with Okoro and was going to post that if a decision is coming soon, we should monitor the CBs.
Now that some CBs are coming in...and for Oregon, it’s looking like that is the choice. Hopefully we can get a visit and the experts end up being wrong.
Ever since that unexpected Oregon visit coinciding with his reclassification becoming more well known (along with very little Illini smoke) it’s seemed that we were out of it.
The only people that feel confident that Okoro ends up at Illinois are Illinois insiders and fans. Everyone else thinks he's going to Oregon.
When's the last time ole Roy has chimed in since the original statement? Seems he's not exactly oozing with confidence since he isn't out there retweeting about it and acting all puffy chested bc he knows. The curmudgeon Roy Schmidt says Okoro to Illinois and he doesn't go out on a limb and end up wrong often. I would not consider him an Illinois homer. I don't think that means its a lock but its not just Illini kool-aid drinkers that are confident in Illini's chances.
Crystal balls are so inaccurate I rarely give them credence. Bryce Golden being a great recent example with 10 CB's (100%) to Syracuse and he commits to Butler. He might end up at Oregon but the two people flipping don't have any idea what Francis Okoro is thinking. JMO
Late CB's tend to be more reliable. We should be realistic about Okoro.Crystal balls are so inaccurate
I thought the lean PG years under Groce proved that already.I'm not saying we won't get Okoro but if he goes elsewhere, it should be put to rest that playing time is the biggest factor in recruiting. We wouldn't have had a super thin front court these past few years if that were the case.
Butler was also Bryce's last visit. I'd feel a whole lot better if we could at least get Okoro on campus for one last time.Crystal balls are so inaccurate I rarely give them credence.
