I think the Joubert comparison is quite a stretch but thank you for posting anyway. I hope that sports anchor is in some sort of Hall of Fame.

Same man's body at a young age. Not the same kind of athlete.

A little more explosive not as good of passer, but big strong body type.

All I can remember about Joubert is Streets and Smiths saying he could go straight to the NBA and sitting in the crowd at THE Assembly Hall hearing many in the crowd chanting fatty whenever he got the ball.

Regarding Evan Maxwell he will not you the defensive presence, might give you more lateral quickness than what we have now. Wouldn't be a bad pick up, offensive skills seem decent. Likes to dunk a lot, has good hops. Scored 20 against Winthrop last year and did well against Notre Dame. Would be a solid pick-up IMHO, similar to landing Jack Ingram. Had some very good suitors besides Kansas (Arizona, Cincy, Vtech).

Illinois probably served by a veteran solid transfer vs a red shirt candidate high school player.
