Bingo. It’s a good question though. I’ve never really understood the moment in the sun thing. Save that for the court as far as I’m concerned. Oh, and get off my lawn.
Thank god we have some humor on this thread!!!! If we can’t laugh at tragedy; we shall surely go insaneIts a good thing recruits can't attend our football games... so we've got that going for us.
Father Powell was 6’6Roger Powell says hello, and my squad did pretty well if you recollect...

Hearing Hoosiers a lot all the sudden. CB’s still say Keeentucky
Wildcats losing steam! Believe it is between us and Providence. Torn between two parents desires. Hopefully mom is not a good cook and daddy does the grilling!
Here is what I heard yesterday...
There are two commitment videos made. Kentucky waiting on final word this weekend from Daimion Collins.. if he commits to KU, there is no room for Hopkins. He will be an Illini. If no word from Collins, the scholarship goes to Hopkins. For the life of me I’m not sure why a kid would accept those terms.. unless of course it was and always will be his dream school..
It’s not that I don’t like to be celebrated or celebrate my own accomplishments, I just don’t feel the need to do it in such a contrived and public manner and garner as much attention as possible. I get the business angle though. And I appreciate a well-done commitment video now and then.Did you attend high school or college graduation? Or celebrate any other important milestone you worked hard for, over many months or years?
I think with elite recruits, there's also a business end to it, where they're aware they should market themselves. Every fan they garner is a potential revenue stream down the road or increased potential for endorsement, etc.. And I think a lot of the people close to them enjoy sharing the spotlight for a moment too. Sometimes family sacrifice as much (or more) than the recruit.
As long as they don't grossly overdo it (aka the Decision) I think it adds to the experience.
... which is nice.
I forgot, what does a Monday commitment mean

Not sure why Kansas comes into play hereHere is what I heard yesterday...

He would fit in with Giorgi very nicely indeed !I agree. Most Mustafas (close enough - work with me here) bring the energy... can you imagine a Friday home game!???
The date and time is set.
Now we are on CB watch.
I’d be interested to hear from @ProfessorQC, @whitesxfan2012, @illini0440, or @Indy Illini Fan to see if any new developments have come up in the past couple days or if we still have a shot.
i'd be interested to hear @stuemke5 weigh in
