Good to see you out. Thanks for your work on the recruiting board!I should have added the /s.
Stanford signed a PF, does that change Kalcbrenners status?
I apologize for the spelling.
RJ Davis cuts list to four, Georgetown, Marquette, North Carolina and Pittsburgh
Side note: He is on the same team as Adrian Griffin, Archbishop Stepinac High School
Also in attendance: Georgetown head coach Patrick Ewing and Pitt's Jeff Capel were also present, along with multiple members of their coaching staffs.“Duke already has [five-star small forward] Jalen Johnson and [five-star point guard] Jeremy Roach for 2020, so they’re making a statement by watching a junior the first day they can go on the road.”
I’ve been on this same page. Seems like the things working against him are:
- new to NCAA (true freshman)
- new to BU system
- new to United States and to college life
- injured for the summer, so no summer practice
- unheralded/unranked recruit with no other high offers
Working for him:
- Looked really buff in a photoshopped workout picture
- tall
-already used to the international 3 point line that NCAA is adopting this year
I hope he’s awesome. I would go so far as to say there is reason to think he might be awesome in his Illini career. But I am extremely skeptical that he will be a big contributor this year.

And speaking of Adrian Griffin, here is an article concerning Duke's involvement in his recruiting.
duke basketball staff sends serious message to five star forward
"during a Monday scrimmage at his high school, Archbishop Stepinac (White Plains, N.Y.) small forward A.J. Griffin must’ve seen the significance of his main audience being Duke basketball’s longest-tenured coaches: chief of staff Mike Krzyzewski, right-hand man Jon Scheyer, and 11th-year assistant Nate James.
Durham posse’s choice to kick things off by visiting the 6-foot-7, 215-pound five-star sent a message of confidence out into the recruiting universe:
Also in attendance: Georgetown head coach Patrick Ewing and Pitt's Jeff Capel were also present, along with multiple members of their coaching staffs.
Would Adrian be in the same position as our existing AG?Pretty sure he is either G-Town or UNC kid, but it would have been nice to get him. Hopefully has nothing to do with Griffin, although I think that ship may have sailed for us as well, whether his Dad likes us or not.
If staff pulls off Curbelo plus already Kofi, you can color me impressed. Oh wait maybe impressed is the wrong color.
Wouldn't the one to the right be "unclick to expand"?
