For me, "It's Happening" is like a joke that's been told so many times it's gone from being funny, to not funny, and back to being funny again. It's possible it will go back to being not funny again very soon.
"It's Happening" when we thought it was happening was funny.
Then it wasn't funny.
"It's Happening" when we knew it probably wasn't happening was funny.
Then it wasn't funny.
"It's Happening" when it could have been happening but we still needed to protect ourselves from impending potential disappointment was funny.
Then it wasn't funny.
And now that there's a chance it's actually happening, I'm back to the beginning again.
