Podz said he's going to get us a national championship. Do I bet my beach house now or later?
I think he said he wants to help us bring home a national championship because it's "something [we] haven't done in awhile."

Who's going to tell him? I nominate . . . anyone other than me.

It probably has a lot to do with these teenagers treat the people in the know on here. The mouths think they’re the experts and ruins for the info we get from 0440-Indy-Lville-Tornado-and others.
Judicious use of the Ignore feature makes reading the board much more enjoyable. And if we did lose 0440 because of carping, that's a real shame.

Am guessing if Trent is back, we're out on Plummer. If Miller's leaving, I think we'll be targeting a bigger guard. Brewer comes to mind. Then again, Plummer may be too damn good to pass on, regardless.
Always room for quality.

I could easily see a 3 headed rotation at the PG and SG spots with Curbelo / Frazier and Plummer all getting 25+ minutes. Adam Miller the one who would make Plummer very unlikely imo.

If Miller doesn’t return (I hope he does), next season’s squad likely won’t have a single starter who was raised in the State of Illinois. I cannot recall that ever being the case. And with Leib being the only other Illinoisan among our last dozen recruits/transfers, this is something we’ll be seeing for awhile.

I don’t know whether this will be good or bad, but it sure is ... strange.

Hamlin is still an Illini, right? There are rumors he’s leaving, but I thought those were still just rumors...

Frazier (1/2 PR), Curbelo (full PR) and Plummer (full PR) would be a bit undersized but man oh man how fun to watch.
showtime

That said, we're not going to be able to get by with that against a few select teams, beyond short stretches.

I just think people are stuck in this thinking that "only go pro if you're an NBA 1st rounder." Kofi would make a VERY good living basically immediately regardless of what league he ends up in. I still think there's a good chance he'd be a 2nd rounder. Someone in the NBA would take the chance on him.

Like do people honestly think he's going to come back and work on 3s? His passing could use some work, but I feel like that's hardly a reason to come back.
IDK...I think if I was Kofi I would ask BU to allow him to be high post more, work on his passing and hire a FT guru.
Watching Embiid other night, he doesn't do 3s much but he moves really well and is good at FTs. I think for Kofis growth he needs more opportunities to move/pass more.

if we get Plummer may mean miller is gone with Trent coming back. Plummer may not start though. He could be a 6th man off the bench, like a Chaundee Brown role. Still expect us to get a bigger guard transfer regardless of what happens, unless maybe both miller and Plummer come which is not likely at all.
I'm thinking Brewer is definitely in the mix.
