You don't get to claim you know what's going on, then claim to not know what's going on. You're making up scenarios and trying to pretend you're not. Maybe just stick with "I have no idea what's going on" without adding the nonsense going on in your head.
Where did I claim to know what's going on? What scenario did I make up? He entered the portal. That's a fact. I said if he comes back, I find it hard to believe there won't be friction. Is that possibility really that outlandish to you? I've been on teams before and it really doesn't seem that crazy to me.

You chose to be offended. Maybe practice reading comprehension before you divulge the nonsense going on in your head.

That seems like a strange choice for his talent as a basketball player. Nothing wrong with Samford. Good luck

So you think a player going into the portal and then returning doesn't rub anyone on the team the wrong way? You don't think it'll be a passing joke and a source of friction?

In the end, I don't know what went down and I'm not claiming to. Miller's camp is going to do what's believed to be best for them, and that's just life. But I find it hard to believe there would be 0 tension, even if limited, if he returns.
All this consternation about team chemistry if AM comes back is in my mind over exaggerated. BU demands a tight locker room. He won’t allow any friction to take place. Relax guys we got a good one in Underwood

Looking to be the starting 2 guard, this November. I think that there may be some competition for that spot, good for him to put it out there.

The article he wrote for SI contains an impressive number of spaces on my bingo card for "Things players say before realizing they should transfer:"

> Close relationship with the coach
> Getting to the next level
> My uncle is on staff
> Shocking the world
> Mid-majors can compete with Power 5 schools
> They will let me play point guard
> I've never been on campus
> This isn't the last you'll hear from me

Hope it works out for him.

I think it's hard to say exactly what the rest of the team will think if that happens. It certainly has the possibility of killing chemistry. But it also depends heavily on what their relationship was like before and what conversations occur after he hypothetically decides to come back. I think the end result could be anything from being sort of cut off by his teammates (really bad outcome) to acting like nothing ever happened except periodic jokes like "remember that one time..." (really good outcome). I won't pretend to know enough about all of their interpersonal relationships or the real situation with Miller and his camp to guess which is most likely.

All I really know is that, if I had to pick what I consider to be an ideal scenario, it would be Miller returning and everyone treating it as water under the bridge.

Most importantly, I would think that this issue is something BU is already keenly aware of and will consider in his discussions with Miller. I would think he's probably already talked to the team about it and has a better idea than the rest of us how this would likely go if Miller came back.

Podz reminds me of a John Deibler type guy. A guy who can play on and off the ball who will get into a guys shorts on D. If he can play to Deibler’s level, we have a solid player. Melendez could be a shorter version of Robbie Hummel. A guy who can take the ball to the basket, a really good shooter with lots of length. Finally Omar Payne reminds me of Nigel Hayes of Wisconsin. A solid defender but not the scoring ability. We have hit an HR with these and with Goode that we can afford to let Miller walk. Add Plummer to the team and we will he a top 4 seed in the Tourney next year.
I'll be honest in that I don't think you are remotely close for any comparison.

1) Deibler was not a ball handler at all, but could move around on screens well whether 2 or 3 point shooter. Podz has some handles but not be as elite of a shooter right away.
2) Melendez to me is nothing like Hummel. Does not have as much of the build, better athlete, and not as good of a shooter.
3) Payne is nothing like Nigel Hayes. Hayes was shorter, built more, and has amazing footwork in the post. At times, had a 3 point shot. Unfortunately Hayes is the same age as Trice. In general Payne is more like a Clint Capella (not saying he is as good or will make NBA) type - rim runner, shot blocker, elite athlete.

Plummer would not come for a reduced minutes and 6th man role, no way. My guess it is down to BYU and Illinois. Have we confirmed 100% that Frazier is coming back? I know the Schroat interview and all but has Trent confirmed what his Uncle/Dad alluded to?
Agree. He’s a star on a decent pac12 team. Why would he transfer to UI for a bench role?

We are in Plummer's top 5. Decision Saturday. If he comes it will likely be for the 6th man role.
Speculating that Plummer is coming to start -- at least in his own mind. We'll likely know how BU and the coaching staff view things once the noise settles down and we know the 2021-22 roster with 98% certainty.

Still think the defense concerns are legitimate. He would come in and immediately be our worst defender, and playing both 6'1" Belo and 6'1" Plummer (neither are a stout 6'1" either) would be a major liability. You can definitely do worse of course, but I think that backcourt would really struggle in certain matchups.
And don't forget the possibility of 6'1 Trent Frazier also in our backcourt.

Lots of chatter about TyTy Washington and Kentucky...wow that recruitment escalated.
Kansas was in there but appears to have taken another lead guard.
Baylor offered.
Good for him.
