Plummer took the 13th scholarship which means we have no spots to add any additional players except for Trent and Monte. Someone would need to leave to fill another spot. Belo, Goode, Plummer, Melendez, Podz, Hutch, Grandy, Hawk, Kofi, BVD, Lieb, Hamlin and Payne if I am counting correctly. So Miller is not coming back unless a spot opens and the same with Mitchell.
IIRC Turner was #33. Came in with teammate Bryant Notree, who wore #25 before transferring out.
Did we establish that the COVID year scholarship isn’t free for a transfer? I.E. it is different for Plummer that Trent?
Let's never forget: Ben Wilson wore #25 at Simeon, and that's why Nick wore the same number at Illinois, he has said, to honor Ben Wilson.

I believe if you stayed at your school when your regular eligibility was used up. Plummer only played three years, two JUCO and one at Utah. Someone correct me if I am mistaken but that is how I read it. Trent nor Monte can go anywhere else to play except professional. But they can stay here one more year.
With all this hype and baiting after already announcing he’s leaving I think anything other than returning would be the worst troll this fan base has had.

I read where he signed with Utah in May of 19. Also read he will play his 'Covid' year at Illinois.

it seems like he’s hinting at transferring to another school but I think he wants us to think that but we’re seeing through it lol. Because if he does go elsewhere, it will be a weird situation after his dad’s comments the other night.
Man I hope he stays, but I’m certainly not holding anything against him if he does something else. Regardless of what his dad said a while ago.
I don't want to steal Trent's thunder, but Im announcing at 3:58 p.m. at the senior center that I'm returning to Illini as a fan next season. Great things are happening for Illini. I won't enter the fan transfer portal. Illini for life as long as I live - if I live that long.

I think he's just having fun. Him transferring seems out of the question in my opinion. Players have to go into the portal to transfer. That's not really a process you want to slow play. Also would be a strange thing to build up anticipation for.
