There must be another list.....where are the kids from Collinsville, Centralia, Benton, Mt. Vernon, Mcleansboro, Taylorville, Pinckneyville, Effingham, Paris, Robinson, Danville, Champaign, Galesburg, Lincoln, Decatur, Springfield, and Madison? Looks like I took a nap in 1960 and woke up in another state six decades later.
I know you go back a ways 47. Any chance you remember that '44 team at Taylorville led by our very own Johnny Orr? Arguably the best team to ever lace em up in Illinois. Won a state championship with an unblemished record of 47-0 (I think).

I feel Virgil Fletcher and our very own Bogie Redmon would like a word...

I always liked this guy out of high school! Too many schools?

How many times do we have to recruit a kid? Third time's a charm?

I usually make fun of the people who say they only one a kid who wants to be an Illini, but in a situation like this, they'd probably be close to a point. Is it worth the time and effort to reengage after being turned down twice? What is p(win) there?

An interesting name i am hearing some buzz around Ledarrius Brewer he is a solid 2 or 3 and shoots the three alot with close to a 40% avg..
He would fit in nicely.
So guess we don’t need a big or pg. How many wings do we need on the bench?

So, unless my math is off, we’ve got 1 open scholly?
Giorgi, Ayo, Trent, Monte, Miller

filled by

Goode, Melendez, Payne, Podziemski and <open>

I want Miller back, but if Tre Mitchell says he’s coming, you’ve got to give him the ride, right?

One open scholarship as of today, but we will see that number change in the coming days. Hypothetically we could bring back Miller and grab Mitchell, but Mitchell will be a long shot. If no Miller or Mitchell, Brewer and Ntambwe will be very realistic options.

I do think we most definitely need another PG --- whether Trent returns this fall or not. Who's our PG in 2022-23 if Curbelo has a great season and turns pro? Very short on depth here.

Agree that we need another point, but I don't feel like Curbelo going pro after next year is very likely.

Also, it seems like everyone is planning on the transfer rule to stay the same, so we will be able to just plug in another guy, most likely.
