Boom!!! Another pure shooter who can drive the ball. We are going to be longer, more athletic with multiple shooters. Next season will be fun.
Felt good about this one. Looking at all of his other final 5, they all felt like he would have been “the man” on a team that would have been bubble at best, no different than Utah. Feel like with he and (hopefully) Trent in the fold we are a for sure tourney team. That and the fact that it seems like Illinois games are now events in PR due to Belo, I think what we presented was the best opportunity and unique from the other 4.
Excited for this get. I’ve said it before, but I think he’s the perfect stop gap. If any of the freshman are ready to contribute next year, great. But with Plummer in the fold that moves from the “must” to “nice to have” category for us to have a successful season next year. If Kofi comes back, I think we are a top 15ish team for sure next year.
