Nobody EVER will replicate what Wooden did at UCLA, but five different coaches that followed him have gotten the Bruins to the Final Four -- Gene Bartow, Larry Brown, Jim Harrick, Ben Howland, Mick Cronin -- which is hella impressive, and suggests that the "program" remains a draw.
Yes, others have a bag man like Sam Gilbert who took care of Wooden's players.

Looks like BU is pursuing tall guards who can shoot. Bass looks like he handles the ball more and Storr looks like the athletic big bodied guard we have been missing. Storr looks like a top 75 possibly to 50 player. Uber athlete, who can shoot and has great college size.

Trimble looks like a diaper dandy blue blood special. You will have to give him starter type minutes. Dunks like Suggs.

Wait, so we're filling our '22 class with 2 3 star SGs? That's an interesting strategy. Not saying it's wrong. Just maybe a little bit weird, looking at it from the outside, with so much still to figure out for the '21 class/season.
Thatā€™s like getting one six star guard, which would be our highest recruit ever.
If the staff is taking them this early Iā€™m guessing weā€™ll see their ratings go higher before they land on campus.

Friend if my sonā€™s just picked up an offer from South Carolina, to go with MD, Nebraska and XU. Surprised Iā€™ve never seen him mentioned on here with that level of offers. He sure impresses me but I donā€™t really know what a high D1 kid looks like in high school well enough to opine- Kam Kraft.
