Scouting report: "Currently ranked as a four-star prospect in the class of 2022, Northeast Ohio Shooting Stars guard
Sencire Harris had some impressive moments [in April]," 247Sports director of basketball recruiting Eric Bossi wrote in April. "Pushing 6-foot-4 he is capable of stressing defenders out. He wants to drive it in order to use his size athleticism, but he's not afraid to shoot either. He's got the tools to be one of 2022's top perimeter defenders and has lateral quickness and balance to go along with some instinct to go and make a play. Wake Forest is one of Harris' early offers and you have to figure more are coming down the road."
What it means: Despite losing three assistants, Brad Underwood continues to add good talent to the program, and new assistant Chester Frazier, a former Illini guard, just got his first big win on the recruiting trail as an Illinois assistant. Frazier has been relentless on the trail and has put Illinois in some high-level battles. The Illini also continue to go where the talent takes them with Underwood landing his first Ohio prospect during his tenure.
