I was TOLD this...I didn't read it. It's up to me to choose how I think it should be spelled. We only worry about proper name spelling for guys who want to be here.
No. Thats why I said he must have bulked up over the summer.Schutt listed at 231#’s. Is that accurate? That’s huge.
Nope.Schutt listed at 231#’s. Is that accurate? That’s huge.
Keep an eye on Clowney!
It's a typo. He's really 321.Schutt listed at 231#’s. Is that accurate? That’s huge.
Considering he tagged Chet and based on 247 VT was his first offer I think he's another Frazier recruit... but could be wrongNew Offer! 6-10 2022 South Carolina Tim Anderson's first offer
Can really handle the ball for 6-10!

Don't think he's played much or any. Had a banged up kneeI've been seeing results from Epps and Bass reported....... how's our guy Sencire doing since committing?
Can’t wait to argue over whether he’s a 3 or a 4.Wow. VG skills for a 6' 10" kid. Can see why we've offered. Obviously needs to get stronger and improve his jumping, but the ingredients are there. Ranked 75th (247) and 55 (Rivals), FWIW.
Or if he really wants to be hereCan’t wait to argue over whether he’s a 3 or a 4.

Wouldn’t it be fantastic if Illinois gets to the status of, “I hope they don’t get involved in his recruitment.”? Maybe we are there already, but it would be fun to be one of THOSE programs. You're right, Frazier is lead.
Was also told recently that Xavier is the team to beat for Clowney as of right now.
Do you view him as more of a backup to Huff/Corhen or do you think they will press the gas on him quickly? You're right, Frazier is lead.

If no one leaves at the end of the 22 season except DMW, TF, probably Kofi and who else will leave. It looks like 3-4 schoolies for 22. It seems as if we offer a player a week. We will need another big, a stretch 4 and a pt. guard I would assume.
"Elite" mid-season transfer or Elite-Elite mid-season transfer?Staff is planning on a 5 man class for 2022.
Damonte and Trent don't count against scholarships this year. Kofi, Belo, Plummer (graduating), and Grandison are likely gone and we currently have one scholarship open.
So if there are no transfers off of this current team and those 3 guys (Curbelo, Kofi, Grandison) all decide to move on with their careers then we would be able to take 5 kids for 2022 and would be full-on scholarships, but we all know we should expect at least 1 transfer and good chance staff just leaves 1 open every year from here on out. Can't keep 13 guys happy and always a chance an elite mid-season transfer pops up in the portal and they need to be ready to strike.
Did being full last year cost them Ettienne or was he never really coming here?Staff is planning on a 5 man class for 2022.

That explains a lot
Bit of throwback recruiting news, but pretty frustrating to hear Caris Levert detail his recruitment. He committed to Groce at OhioU, but when Groce came to Illinois, he wouldn't return Levert's calls anymore and an assistant told him they didn't think he could play in the B1G.
