Craft is a friend and former teammate of my son’s. Really don’t understand the XU commitment over some of his other offers.

That one came out of left field. Still think he would’ve come here in an instant if BU and co. offered. Really like Craft as a player, but the recruits we’re after are bigger fish.
Better there than Iowa
He had offers from Md, Sqawks, Huskers, NC St, TTU, Shaka and South Carolina. Really didn’t understand his choice.

Watched a lot of AAU ball last weekend at Prep Hoops in Chicago. The big surprise to me was that Mac Irvin is not the dominant force they used to be. Illinois HoopStars was far better than anyone else. Good summaries on a variety of prospects on PrepHoops.com relatively inexpensively. I'm not associated with them, they just provide a lot of detail on 2022, 2023 and 2024 prospects in the state.
Recruiting is fluid.
