It would be an interesting list to see how many truly underrated players we’ve had vs. what was said about them (here) at the time. I’d venture less than 10% were actually undervalued.
Richard Semrau and David "The President" Palmer come to mind.

Just a reminder that western Michigan transfer Greg lee is announcing his decision tomorrow (technically today): here’s his top 6 in case you forgot.

I wonder what giorgi’s pro prospects would be if he could shoot. He handles well enough at 6’9, and is a good passer. A consistent shot would really be something for him offensively.

I don’t know if he has the lateral quickness or overall athleticism at his size to make the league, even with a consistent shot. But it would be interesting to see him in an nba summer league type setting.

Defense and rebounding are still liabilities for him even tho he has improved. I hope he can develop an outside shot. He could make a lot of money with his other skills added in. Not in the NBA tho.

Agreed. I’m thinking more top tier European leagues with a jumper, as opposed to second level leagues which I think he’s going to end up in.

I actually wonder if the nba was how it was maybe 30 years ago, when back to the basket play was king, if Giorgi and Kofi both would be nba picks this year. For whatever reason Giorgi lost a little something when Kofi came along but let’s not forget how good he was as a frosh.
