Pushing hard for Rodgers. Would be TA's first big fish. Obviously still pushing for Whitmore. Outside of those two, I am not hearing too much when it comes to 2022. Think the staff will be very aggressive in the portal. BU believes he hit two home runs in the portal this year.
2023 though is a different story, we are in on some elite kids. I heard from multiple coaches (AAU, HS, and College) that all believe Fears, and Hooks both wind up here...

So basically what we are at is - he hasn’t committed somewhere yet, so he’s not committed anywhere yet which means he could feasibly commit to Illinois, or anywhere else.
So there’s a greater chance we land him than if he has already committed to nova.
Considering his Instagram story is all about Cal visiting his practice, I wouldn’t even dream on him being an Illini.
It will take time...we will get there before BU finishes his tenure.....building the culture has been important, as is continuity.

From everything I’m hearing, Fears and family both love Illinois. Geoff is pushing hard.
