Wow..... just a couple of weeks ago we thought we would get Cohern, Whitmore , and Oweh.......I'm surprised we haven't pulled in some more talent with our 2 guards coming next year.
We are still way ahead of where we’ve been in previous years and have our future 1 and an excellent 2 in the fold. Considering the entire assistant coaching staff was replaced, I think it’s a miracle we’re sitting this pretty. If Rogers commits, that is an awesome class that will undoubtedly have a big added via the transfer portal, which has suddenly become an embarrassment of riches.

Win big this year and 2023 is shaping up to be a game changing year in terms of the talent that gives us the time of day.

Amazing how quiet this board after the announcement. Everyone expected Nova, but still this board does not have the emotion it used to.
I don’t think anyone cares less. Losing out on a recruit like this just means less.
I feel like people nationally are just beginning to suspect that BU runs a pretty good program. The team this year should provide all the assurances a potential recruit might need.
Barring injury, I’m having a hard time imagining a scenario where Kofi & Andre aren’t the most entertaining duo in college basketball this season. Illinois basketball is going to be a major BRAND again. These days, that’s what you need to get 5 stars.
Onward and upward! Bring em on!

And then have another NPOY drafted in the lottery.....Curbelo the year after.

Lake Norman NC
Wasn't a take

In the same vein, noticed that Michael Zanoni, shooting guard from the Charlotte area (who had legacy ties to Illinois and unofficially visited Champaign last year) committed to Mercer last week.
