I know you're just expressing an opinion, but I don't like to see these kinds of things said about players when you have a guy with a stellar 3 year career being compared to a guy who's had 1 (stellar) season --let alone 3 players who've not yet played a collegiate game. Better IMO to be thankful for the commitment, and positive on guys the staff is high on. Furthermore, a number of folks believe AC has a realistic chance at eclipsing what Ayo's done at Illinois.

FWLIW, I have no issues comparing guys freshmen season, hs rankings, overall careers, etc.. If any of that is what you're saying, fair enough.
I think those were arrows, not “greater than.”

I just meant that it’s great to be passing off from one great (highly ranked) point guard to another.

I love Epps and Harris but imagine them as score-first combo guards here. Fears and Boswell, at their current trajectories, seemingly could fill in as the “alpha” point guard like an Ayo or Curbelo.

Thought our no. 1 priority would be a Kofi replacement but with Omar, Hawk, Vdonk, and Lieb (with another year to gain strength), the PG may be a higher priority. RJ and Goode may also be capable 4’s. Know they are using Hutch some but that seems like emergency only to me. Losing Trent and Belo will be huge.
