Morez seems like he could develop into a similiar skill set like a Chris Webber. Still has 3 full seasons of HS bball. I have a friend who played against Webber in a hs summer league and was dunked on by him.

Regarding commitable scholarship, I think it depends on the player, coach and situation. A player like Morez can probably show up a day before classes and the program will find a scholly. This situation may be different at Kentucky where they may already have a top 5 at that position.
Players like Bass and the other player who decommitted were likely commitable but once the coaches changed it seemed like the interest did as well.
For players on the fence, some coaches may say we are done recruiting at your position if you commit and stop looking. For some commits they read the tea leaves, if a program stops calling them and they continue to recruit at that position then they likely say that they will open up their recruitment(Storrs, Bass).
Also which programs are fully honest with their recruits? There was a good article about 5 years ago detailing this. For many it is like trying date a girl you like but both keep looking for better offers. The article made it sound like players hold less cards than coaches.

- RSCI #70/247 Composite #91 in Class of 2020
- 6-9/270 with 7-6 wingspan
- Skilled, with nimble feet, good handles, and an inside/outside game
- Scouting reports highlight the need to work on his body and conditioning (hello, Fletch)
- Redshirted last season due to injury and had off-season foot surgery (see need to work on body and reduce stress on feet)
- A Baylor site suggests he may be the most talented player they had on this season's roster
"Has a wide, space controlling-frame at 6-9. Conditioning has been an issue in the past. Has nimble feet and a highly skilled game. Good athlete but not overly explosive. Proficient back-to-the-basket scorer who can also face up and shoot or drive from outside. Very comfortable with the basketball and has a feel for passing. Strong rebounder. Correct. To compete in the mid-season transfer market, a team needs a ride available so they can practice and train with the team without paying their own way or waiting until season's end to join a team.

I would say get this done and let Fletch work on him until the end of the next semester. We know that Jake, Plummer and Kofi will be leaving and this signing will fill our rides. Unless we have a transfer out, we will not have to look for another player to fill next year
