Does it matter? The only possibly relevant question might be how academics for athletes compare. And I'm guessing both schools provide very good academic support for student athletes.

There aren't many Jack Ingrams in high profile football and basketball programs.
It matters in that even with very good academic support, his freshman grades were not good enough to permit him to play for Baylor. That seems worthy of at least a little worry.

/s/Then again, it is just possible that Coach Underwood knows more about this than I do.

Joel Goodson

respect my decision™
Fears: almost seems inevitable that he's going to pull the trigger soon. That would be pretty, pretty good. And that his younger brother is another PG stud, with perfect age separation, is pure manna.

And that there's another, younger Fears is unreal.

I was at the game. Ty was obviously the best player there, but I’ll say this in terms of my own scouting report:

His defense is as good as advertised. I don’t recall his man scoring once during the game. He’s a good rebounder and provides some great weakside help on defense.

Offensively, he ran the point almost the entire time. His handle is good, but could be tighter. He will play uncontrolled at times. His passing is severely underrated. He hit his open teammates right in the shooting pocket. I didn’t see him take a single jump shot, but his free throw form was solid.

Additionally, Ty will handle BU’s coaching just fine and fits BU’s personality. I sat right behind the bench and let me tell you this: Tai Streets has no chill. Ty will be able to handle some tough love in close games.
