It is so nice to be sitting early December with next years class already locked up at this point, as well as some good recruitment signs for the future.
What a rollercoaster off season this has been. Let's keep it rolling. Fun to follow Illinois again.

According to 247, might be hard to find a roster spot given our plethora of PF

Saw Jim Mattson interview Morez Johnson after the Washington Tournament of Champions. Johnson says he is 100% committed to Illinois. He wants to represent his homestate, and that kids in Chicago are more open to Illinois than in the past for the same reason. I'll take it.

Thank you Ayo!

Not a big comp guy, but I think that's pretty accurate. And his ceiling is sky high...Luther Head v2.0.
Usually not big on the hyperbole comparing HS kids to some of the greats of Illini lore like Luther but I can see it. Looks a lot like Luther with at least that clip. Rangy kid with a solid stroke and athleticism.

He is intense, always attacking. And Underwood loves that type. Just have to channel that energy.

I was like wow Harris' jersey looks a lot like LeBron in high school.

Looked it up, and it's cause they went to the same high school lol.

He definitely has his mannerisms. That two footed jump for the simple dunk and the between the legs dribbles with a quick pop gave me flashbacks.

Lots of moving pieces to come, but I can't recall a time in the past decade we came even close to this kind of momentum recruiting wise. To have an entire hs class signed in the early period is not only a relief but so awesome for the staff to be able to focus on later classes and transfers.

Still holes to fill, but you've got a long line of talent for the next few years already done. Cannot give enough credit to this staff for keeping the ball rolling. It's something we've missed dearly since the self/Kruger Era.

Sincere reminds me of a more refined and skilled version of Luther Head at the same stage. Luther was athletic but raw especially with shooting. But he eventually became a solid college and NBA shooting threat. I'm much more pleased with this player than before, looks like we will have many more ball handlers.
