I'm new to the board, so bear with me here. I'd like to know where we stand with James Brown (Morez's teammate) and Jeremy Fears. Is there anything new on these two?

By no means am I an insider here but from talk on here it seems Fears is not at the top of our wish list these days.. Apparently his shooting is questionable and hasn't improved so the staff has cooled on him. I haven't seen anything regarding Brown in a while so might ask @illini0440 to fill you in.

well he was sitting down eating a burrito as big as his head. But it is common knowledge that every single player is actually 4"-10" shorter than what they are listed at.

We are right in it for Brown. Probably safe to call us the leader as of right now.

The staff has cooled on Fears quite a bit. Could circle back but as of right now they are focusing their attention elsewhere.

My non-insider take ('23 and on):

- we're big game hunting
- we're not gonna take two short guards (with Epps already on board)
- one need only look at one of many good NBA teams to understand Underwood's preferred template (6' 5" - 6' 8" deadeye shooters who can handle the ball and are good athletes)

Watson is an automatic take, IMO. Pretty much everyone on here knows Thomas is right there, AFAIC. But I've heard conflicting info on that. Brown is obviously an automatic take. Not sure about the Lithuanian kid from Lemont, but I wouldn't be shocked.
