So any info from insiders about how Kylan enjoyed the visit and/or the prognosis now regarding him choosing the O&B? I saw that 0440 said Kylan enjoyed the visit.

Has Boswell given any indication as to when he will make his decision?? Think I read somewhere he's going for an official to AZ but not sure when

lol at the tea leaves readers.

Meanwhile, will this kid be a Chester special?

Ok I've seen names spelled Johnathan and Jonathan, but by Zeus's beard what is this?

Didn't leave me with the impression that he is about to sign with us. šŸ˜„
Oh well; I think if they feel that won't like it here, the coaches will find an alternate who will.

There's a lot to like. And winning goes a long way to liking.

Glad to see other guards names pop up in the last several hours. Recruits need to know their spot might be given to someone else if they don't jump on.

Any info on freshman Longcor from Quincy? Prep Hoops report said he was great against Rock Island, Friday. It seems Quincy has two freshman and two soph. who get a lot of min. and quite good. Might be best team in a few years since my favorite high school coach, Jerry Leggett. I saw Leggett and Wes Mason of Bloom go at it at Pontiac in the 70's. Great game, but the antics of both coaches trying to out drama queen the other was fun to watch. Would have paid triple to see

I saw something about a 6'5" 7th grader in southern Illinois too. Talent continues to roll.

I don't think anyone actually expected him to as he has made it very obvious he wanted to visit both us and Arizona before making a decision. If we wanna try and nitpick everything, we can look at good things too. He posted twice on his twitter about his UNLV visit, he has now posted 7 times on twitter about his visit to UIUC.

'24 Peoria kid, De'kwon Brown, made quite a splash this summer (co-MVP of the Pangos camp, IIRC), but haven't heard much since. Transferred to Bartonville-Limestone, so maybe that's why (they're not good). If anyone has seen him play lately, would appreciate a report.

Jerry Leggett was my sophomore biology teacher at Glenbard East. Is he still around?

TFWIW but my ā€œinsiderā€ DMd me this morning, said he personally chatted with Kylan this weekend, and that he told him that IL is in the driverā€™s seat. True? Time will tell. Encouraging? Absolutely
He would be a huge get for a lot of reasons, but most of all, he seems like he would fit with the culture and type of offense we run - he would be a leader with lots of good talent around him

Given he's from Champaign and grew up following the Illini is huge - it's clearly the closest we've been to a 5 star recruit in a long time

Arizona gets 5 star recruits all the time - let us have this one!!
