I don't doubt those words were uttered, but I cringe when I see someone say something that over-confident. Staff has done extremely well with recruiting, but they've had to be scrappy, and had plenty of misses. Interesting that he's opened it up this late --although a burger boy can probably do whatever he wants and still get a schollie.
I doubt those words were said. What have we ever done in recruiting that makes us that damn confident. I mean..cmon. lol..when will we learn.

Unpopular opinion but I'm lukewarm on Skyy Clark. Four high schools and now decommiting from KY. Hopping around faster than a Tridelt on unofficial. He's played less than 50 games since the beginning of the pandemic. Apparently has helicopter parents.

Does anyone know if he has an ego? 25-35 ranking means he will need to exceed expectations to be a 1 and done. Doesn't warrant "I want the ball in my hands". It warrants "you can definitely have the ball in your hands if you earn it".

No one is hopping around on unofficial. It is a slow slog, stumbling around, and total shock and paranoia when your watch says it is only noon.

Anyone know if Ty Rodgers is legit 6’7” or is that a stretch? I feel like I’ve seen 6’4 to 6’7 when reading articles.

Hard to get a good read on him. I know he tore his acl last year & worked like hell to come back. He got back really early so great for him. His last transfer he went to one of the powerhouses & was coming off the bench at one point. If i can remember correctly he is known for that jumper. Has good size. Reminds me of Epps, but probably doesn't weigh as much.

Thanks much for posting (I certainly wasn't aware of Njie), but it's hard to get much out of these types of videos when there is virtually zero defense being played. It looks like driveway quality effort.
It's tough to find video, especially good video, for most recruits beyond '23 that aren't projected to be 5 stars. So my view is any video of a kid that's close enough that you can give em the eye test, let's see it
