41 from 4? This kid has special abilities.
Must be North Korean-rules basketball where a made shot from beyond the arc that doesn’t touch the rim is a 4-pointer. Other crazy rules there include:

* a dunk is worth 3 points
* a missed free throw takes a point off your score.
* any field goal made in the last three seconds of a game is worth 8 points. (I could just see Illinois blowing a 7-point lead at the buzzer)

This is no joke. These are their actual rules.

Are we still firmly in the lead for Clark? And if Shannon transfers to Illinois, how many seasons of eligibility would he have? In my view, Clark is THE priority. We need to nail him down before we start bringing in transfers.

So when did a shuffling of the feet not become a travel?
Explaining the Gather Step

As long as a shot is being attempted, a travel won't usually be called on a step in (gather step). I imagine some will whine about the purity of the game, but it is what it is.

If the staff worries about it being a travel when he gets here, they'll correct it.

Edit: it's also taught as part of mechanics of taking a jump shot. Step Into a Jump Shot.

Not sure how much clearer it can be made that we seem to be firmly in the lead there. Lots of info out there pointing that way. TSJ technically has two years left. He has played three, but has a covid year. Would surprise me a bit if he used both of them, though.

Ok the game has evolved to cater to fans so more people will tune in. Thanks for the history lesson.

Could you imagine how good Dr.J would have been given 3 steps(gather step like Giannis in the linked video you provided)? Point is records are being broken because the rules of the game are not being enforced like they had been up until the 90's-2000's I would say. It has slowly gotten more lax to cater to the players which in return raises offensive stats and lowers the defensive efficiency. It really is a no brainer why the scores are so high now. But anyways back to recruiting.

The rules are the same. It’s about timing when you fully take control of the ball to manipulate your footwork to your advantage.

Shall we get off your lawn now? 😉

Anybody on here watch much game action of Segu? Offense looks awesome and like something we could use but the defensive numbers are not kind (similar to Plummer).

I think with these rules Kofi would average 40 a game with all the dunks he throws down. :)
