This sure reads to me like Belo changing his mind and sticking in Champaign.

I don't know what else fits. Like there's very few things that are all of:

1) Not objectively bad
2) Shocking to a lot of people but not everybody
3) *Just* conflicting enough where not everyone's necessary thrilled

Miller would've been the only other thing and that was quickly ruled out. So.

Duke and Kentucky have nice problems. Two top 10 prospects coming in at SG/SF and trying to add a top Portal guy at the same position? Last time we had a top 10 guy was in the 80s.

I'll take top 10 players over top 10 recruits. UI has had 3 in the last 2 years; UK and Duke have 1 each.

UI has been objectively better than UK over the last 3 or so years. Duke just passed the wand from a legend to a very much unproven guy so let's see what the next 5 years hold. Do they have a Ryan Day or a Matt Doherty?
