So do we expect any commitments before the end of the week at this point? I'll vote no.

My new complete-and-utter-out-of-left-field guess on who IL lands on the transfer market:
- Jones
- That's it.

:)

Can any kind soul summarize the events of yesterday's thread... but without any mention of Bryce Hopkins?
Kofi's going pro. Jay Wright retired. and people are wondering if Cam Whitmore will ask out of his NLI and want to come to Illinois. Oh, and you need to change your name now.

Some transfer targets currently in the portal include David Jones and Courtney Ramey.

We are watching for the second wave of portal entries after some people pull out of the draft.

Big's to watch include Efton Reid, Manny Bates, and Pete Nance

There seems to be some level of mutual interest in Emoni Bates through his connections with Ty and Skyy.

Jay Wright retired, leading to speculation that Cam Whitmore could open up his recruitment. Chet and Cam are as close as TA and Skyy.

So there was a post on the yesterday's thread that mentioned Brad is very happy with Dain so a portal big might not be a priority, What if, and I ask this seriously, if BU thinks Lieb can give us a few minutes at the 5 along with rolling Hawk over and giving Ben minutes as well? Stranger things have happened between a kids soph and jr year. Gill made himself a player then, Joe Bertrand came from the bench to score like 20 some odd points in a game. Ken Colliers rode the bench until he changed his name to Norman and became a AA and Warren Carter played sparingly his first two years. Not thinking it would happen but I am not Brad

I’ll be curious to see how, uh, eventful the Bates recruitment turns out. Seems like that kid has a crazy circle around him
