Ant’s Spotify live is pretty interesting right now.

Long story short; Terrance hasn’t technically graduated from TTU yet. Michigan wouldn’t let him in until he did, so they said go take those summer classes and come here in June. Texas Tech coach wouldn’t let him take those classes while on scholarship since he said he wanted to leave - apparently our boy Josh Whitman signed a waiver allowing him to come here without technically graduating yet.

As I said when Clark committed, I just want Illinois to be in the mix again. The names are going to come and go and it's not always going to be pretty. Either get on board or go root for a D-II school.

Whitman did what he needed to do … There’s a reason Brad always brings up his relationship with Josh in interviews … Whitman just gets it.

* Frazier, Williams and Plummer graduated (out of eligibility). Not really dominos.
* Epps, Harris and Rodgers were already signed as incoming Freshmen. Not really dominos. 3
* Hawkins, RJ, Goode, Lieb and Dainja were already on the roster. Not really dominos. 5

Domino Update: - and we originally thought 9 dominos would be a lot.
#1 - Curbelo exits
#2 - Payne exits
#3 - Skyy joins the team
#4 - Podz exits
#5 - Kofi declares for draft
#6 - BBV exits
#7 - Hutcherson declares for draft
#8 - Grandison declares for draft
#9 - Shannon Jr. joins the team
#10 - ???
#11 - ???
#12 - ???

Seems that we still have 3 of 13 slots open, with Hutcherson and Grandison also still eligible to return.
Doesn’t ZZ committing count as a domino?

Not an insider, but this seems like a slam dunk exception to make, if it was an exception at all. TSJ was all academic Big 12. It's not like Whitman forced a terrible student past admissions.
Exactly. That was probably a big factor. Shannon gets it done in the classroom. He deserves to be a University of Illinois student. There's nothing noble or well-intentioned about these transfer policies that deny credits from carrying over. They are 100% about getting kids to enroll into branch campuses of schools like Michigan and Illinois, so the tuition money all flows to the same place. There is nothing else behind them. No reason a genEd at University of Michigan Dearborn is inherently more worthy of counting towards a UM degree than a course at Texas Tech.

Size comparison vs 88-89
Liberty. 6’8”. Dain. 6’9”
Hamilton. 6’7”. Hawk. 6’10”
Anderson. 6’6”. RJ. 6’7”
Battle. 6’6”. Shannon 6’6”
Bardo. 6’6”. Ty. 6’7”
Gill. 6’4. Skyy. 6’3”
Small. 6’7”. Luke. 6’7”
Smith. 6’4”. Sencire. 6’5”
Bowman. 5’10”. Epps. 6’2”
Size compares well but Anderson and Battle are tough to match. Can see switching, pressure defense in terms of length and athleticism. Believe all five starters played in NBA. May have 5 possibilities on this team but certainly not proven yet.
