Maybe not at the time but I don't think it gets as much credit as some other top Scorsese movies. I think it's right up there with his best, yet I rarely hear it mentioned in that category.

As for the nominations, they included best costume, best original song and best sound, which are all kind of "fluff" categories. The film went 0-for-10 on those nominations, not winning a single one. Also, the Irishman received 10 nominations as well, and I'm sorry, but that was not a good movie. Likewise Aviator received 11 (good movie but mid-tier Scorsese at best).

Papa Dels is in their third location now. Murphy's is twice the size, having bought out something. Deluxe is bigger too. The whole trying to work your way through a crowd to get back to a table thing is gone. That was charming, wasn't it?

There is no more Deluxe. If you're thinking of Legends, it's NOT the Deluxe.
