I'm a fan of Mayer for his apparent defensive prowess. Let's face it, however: the prospect of having that mullet in an Illini jersey is in itself an imperative to recruit him. I don't even recall any of our team sporting that look when it was (hideously) fashionable back in my day. 
[EDIT: I suppose if we had enjoyed the robust Canadian Pipeline back then we'd have been awash in mullets.]

I don't know Mayer's neck looks pretty long. That's just wasted heighth.
Long Neck = Longer Mullet. Basic maths!
I would love both, I said that I doubt we would get both. Would we want both? Sure but when have we ever gotten what we want LOL
