@pruman91 I just finished barber school and opened my own barber shop. This is the first piece of decor I put up. Thought you’d like it.

Btw, I get a lot of Illini fan customers and we talk Illini hoops recruiting! (Had to stay on topic!!)

Ahh...good point. How 'bout Cornbillies? Beanbillies? Tractorbillies? Plowbillies? Danville Vikings?

Haha...take that Danville!

This isn't the first time you've taken a low blow at Danville. What gives, Sky?

Besides the high violent crime, unemployment, poverty, and STD rates, Danville is a great place to raise a family.

I kid. Vermilion County is mostly a solid community of good people and a victim of circumstances out of its control..

PS. Little known fact: One of the only columns at Memorial Stadium that doesn't memorialize a University of Illinois student was erected for Curtis Redden, a Danville man who played for Michigan before dying in the war.

Brock Harding is a PG here the in the Quad Cities from Moline High School. He holds some good Mid Major offers as of now, but seems to continue to gain steam through the AAU Circuit. Is our staff interested in him at all? Seems to be very Curbeloesq, but better shooter IMO.
Haven't seen him play. Watched some video, and he has some game. Certainly can ball handle and shoot. Article in Orange and Blue News from 3-27-21 says "2023 point guard Brock Harding has a family connection to Illinois and the Illini are one of a handful of high major programs that have already reached out." But that ofc was 14 months ago. Not much news in Rivals or 247. Per Hawk Report from 5-11-22, "Iowa, Butler and Oregon State are the high majors he’s hearing from the most, he said."

I escaped! Survivor. Not originally from there, but forced to move there from Nashville, TN when parents split. I literally had to fight my way into the 6th grade. An "8th grader"....ahem.....put me in a headlock and the scrap was on. I lost.....but he had a mustache. And a drivers license.

So I will give the 'Ville credit for two things....making me tougher.....and motivating me to GTFO! It's a like/hate relationship.

Honestly there were some good times. You are right, there are plenty of good people in the County. My son was born there. I got to play baseball with Mike and Andy Small....and pick up basketball at the Lutheran gym with Keon Clark. He was a good kid.

And finally my HS best friends dad introduced me to Fighting Illini basketball!

A little Throwback Thursday dub history!

I would like to subscribe please. Going to various caves, drink whiskey, move on? Are there ham sandwiches like when I went to Carlsbad Caverns?
 While a ham sammy sounds nice, I wouldn't subscribe to the whiskey. You'll get lost af.

I too have Danville roots and got out of there as soon as I could. I go back frequently though. Have run into Keon several times at the golf course.

Anyway, back to the way too early minutes projections or whatever it was we were doing.

3 pages today....quite dissapointing. Anybody up for starting a rumor to get a little flow going? With only 3 pages, no need to even make a clean page tomorrow.
