I'm not sure you understand the meaning of "Karen." Having one's name spelled/pronounced correctly is generally not considered being entitled.

Has Grandison hired an Agent? Any word on him? Really have heard nothing since he "declared" for the Draft. I've kinda assumed he was gone, but we very clearly have a ride if he wants one...

Joel Goodson

define scoring machine. His 4 year average was 6.6 ppg, best season 10.1 ppg. Career FT% is 51%. Not a really strong rebounder or shot blocker. Never made a 3, pretty good FG%. Hard pass

Yikes. No idea what Foran was thinking.

Anyway, I'm far too immature to have a guy named Butz on the team

Yeah, Foran might be the only human outside of maybe Butz’s family who has called him a scoring machine.

Butz instead of Nance (and/or Mayer) would certainly be disappointing, but I don’t know what is left out there in the way of bigs. I thought he was a decent enough player at DePaul. Not a great scorer, but don’t remember them running any kind of plays for him so he can get his in the flow of the offense. As noted, he’s not a dominating shot blocker, but I remember him being pretty active on D.

His last year at DePaul, he played 3 games against BIG teams. Against Iowa, he was limited to 20 minutes because of foul trouble and had 8 pts (on 3 of 4 shooting), 3 rebounds and 1 assist, block and steal. Versus Minnesota, he had 9 points on 6 shots and 9 rebounds. And against NW he had 24 points (13 shots) and 8 rebounds. All those games DePaul won. He’s also actually played against the Illini in his freshman year. He was DePaul’s leading rebounder with 7, but fouled out in 19 minutes.

Again, I’m hoping for much better than Butz, put if the guys we’ve been talking about fall through, who else is left out there? Maybe not the greatest fall back option, but not too bad for a fall back back option. I think he’d be more productive than Payne was last year, though can expect some games at least when he fouls like Payne.
