I can't say I'm surprised. He'd be fighting for tick here, there may be programs out there where he could be the #2 or #3 guy on the entire roster.

Hope Grandy fills a big role on some west coast team.
Pretty sure that means midnight tonight...Deadline is June 1
Trade for Nance?NW is on the West coast of Lake Michigan.
I could see Grandison going to NW. I've heard he's smart and is looking to finish his grad degree. Would be a strong resume to show a potential employer. BIG basketball player, BS from Illinois, and Masters from NW.NW is on the West coast of Lake Michigan.

that's what I'd do if I were him. I'd be looking at Stanford, Harvard, Northwestern, Cal, etc.NW is on the West coast of Lake Michigan.
I simultaneously would hate it b/c he's been such a good Illini and love it since it would very obviously help his future to be a top 2 option for a p5 school.I'm most definitely gonna root for Jake wherever he goes, even if it's Northwestern. Just not against us, obviously. Objectively, Northwestern would be a good choice.

He's not an NBA player. He can make some money in Europe. But degrees from top schools can ultimately make you more money than you can make in Europe.
That's a long problem . I have only one question, in 27 parts...He started the 12 month Masters MBA problem a year ago so it may be a second Masters come fall.
I'm hoping St. Johns personally.I have so much confidence in BU and staff that this doesn’t even get me rattled. Best of luck Jake. Would not surprise me if he busts out somewhere else. Hopefully not against us.
Pretty sure Ivy League isn't an option here due to their rules on eligibility. I believe they are play 4 season in 4 years or get out.that's what I'd do if I were him. I'd be looking at Stanford, Harvard, Northwestern, Cal, etc.

Stanford and Northwestern are the highest rated MBA programs that are in P5 conferences. So if he's going to Northwestern, it makes perfect sense.Pretty sure Ivy League isn't an option here due to their rules on eligibility. I believe they are play 4 season in 4 years or get out.
Ty is absolutely the kind of player you want on a team like this. Go Ty!
Anyone have an idea who may be the odd one out of the 13?
Ty doesn't have a natural position so he's the odd man out.Anyone have an idea who may be the odd one out of the 13?
No idea, but I would hate being the guy who was the 13 to 12 cut a whole lot more than being the 18 to 13 cut. So close!Anyone have an idea who may be the odd one out of the 13?
Why would you cut a 12 man team to final 13..?No idea, but I would hate being the guy who was the 13 to 12 cut a whole lot more than being the 18 to 13 cut. So close!
My guess is his positional versatility, commitment to defense, and team first approach are the precise reasons he is still around. You only need so many guys to score. You need other guys to do the dirty work and not pout about shots. Ty seems like the ideal bench guy for a team like this. (and another team I can think of..)Ty doesn't have a natural position so he's the odd man out.
OR
Ty is so flexible he's the one guy guaranteed to make the cut.
to screw over one kid that you hateWhy would you cut a 12 man team to final 13..?
