No idea what's going through Nance's mind. However, one thing I'd imagine is trying to figure out how to position himself for the future including a long shot bid for the league next year. I really don't know what "position" that means or what place in an offense that is. So I'm guessing is he's thinking about what scouts have told him and is trying to figure out what team/scheme best fits his development needs.
As to downplaying Gonzaga because of Timme, that's pretty laughable from this board. We have people suggesting that Hawkins is so good that he's definitely getting starter minutes. One insider said we he passed up on the transfer portal that this would be his last season. So by the board's standards, Nance is fighting for minutes here.
He's a great player in many ways. He'll get 25mpg anywhere he goes.

I've read many comments from UNC fans on Twitter over the past week saying Matthew Mayer would've been OK but they'd rather have Pete Nance. It will be absolutely delicious if Nance also commits to the Beloved...
Don't forget the UNC fanbase will lose their minds if we got Nance too!
