Just a nitpick with his weight. CoHawk should be no more than 230-235. 250 carries serious risk of limiting his explosiveness and lateral movement. The NBA wants more KD's.....Ayton was exposed.
Hawk is a 4 if he ever does make the NBA so no he shouldn't get much bigger. KD exposed Anton but Hawk is never going to do that. There's only one KD. Of course they want more but his gifts are to a great degree god given. Hawk moves well for a bigger guy but I wouldn't call him explosive or mention him or many in the same breath as arguably the best player in the world. Hawk needs to worry more about improving his peremiter shoot at the college level much less the NBA range before he ever sniffs the NBA. His weight at the 4 is fine.

Yeah, I didn't compare him to KD and I didn't say he was explosive. I used KD as a prototype for a 6'9-6"11 NBA forward in todays game, and I said CoHawk would lose explosiveness by increasing his weight.

I've no doubt that Rowinski worked on his physique maniacally. But he had the frame and musculature. Guys like Tisdale, Lieb and Hawkins (to varying degrees) don't. Doesn't matter what type of peach tree dish you have, you can't turn a Durant type into a Rowinski type.

OK. I disagree. That muscle would only enhance his power and agility. I can't understand any downside to him playing at 250 if that 30 lb gain has come through increasing his squat, press and deadlift significantly.

Rowinski was listed at 6'8", 250 lbs. CoHawk is two inches taller. Frankly, he could go 20 lbs beyond that and be deadly.

Of course, it's irrelevant beyond speculative value. He'll never get there. Will be surprised if he tops 230. Love the guy and just want to see him reach his potential while wearing the O&B.

I would take Brandon Garrison, if that is who you are thinking!

He is already 18yrs old and in the 2023 recruiting class.
We are recruiting a center/forward named Jazz Gardner 2023...that was my thought.....

A poster on one of the Carolina boards is saying he heard a rumor that Nance is going to take a visit to Michigan but he couldn’t verify it.

I don’t know how much Duke will help him in terms of preparing him for the league. I don’t see him become a different player simply because he goes to Duke. We shall see.
Not sure really how things work overseas, but I'd have to believe that there's possibly some cachet that comes from Duke and additional cachet with tourney success. So from the standpoint of securing a Euro contract, this could perhaps help.

Of course, 12mpg and 3ppg won't help if that happens. If he goes to Duke I'll be rooting hard for him to get about 15ppg for a 12-18 Duke team.
