From what I've read on him is he is an offensive prodigy for a big man, but awful on the other end of the floor. Hopefully he picks up on defense.

I wonder if that 40 minute convo was with Nance's agent because UNC lowballed him... I wouldn't doubt it. They probably had to pay Black, Love and Bacot a ton of money to stay, and they might not be able to necessarily guarantee what Nance wants.

Excited for November to get here and see how all the new parts will fit together on the court...assembling this much talent has been an eye popping accomplishment for the coaching staff....getting all the parts to mesh together and translate into (and I hate to say this) good team chemistry will be another feather in the cap for this staff...trusting BU and staff to make this all happen

Although his defense needs a good amount of work, I tend to agree that could be his ceiling. You just can’t teach that offensive skillset to 7 footers. I think he’s criminally underrated in ‘23 rankings.

I find it interesting that we are "flirting" with under rated 3 stars, like Hough and Hansberry, both considered power forwards. Not meaning this in any negative way at all, btw. One has to remember that Johnny Davis and Keegan Murray were both 3 stars. And, on the other hand, everyone on the team has a role, and a great coach looks for the buy-in.

I don't know squat about a convo with Nance. I heard that TA had a long talk with Bates' camp yesterday. Sparking LAD yesterday afternoon. Not sure which party initiated said call.
I trust this staff to elevate anyones defensive level.
