Huh, I don't like Pearl but Auburn has been one of the best teams nationally and have been very good. The SEC has several won titles in basketball since the B10 has been without one. I love the Illini but to say the SEC isn't a great basketball conference too is ridiculous. How many first rounders do they need? Florida and Bama are good as are many others. I think your perspective may be a bit biased.
