They named their kids Jeremy and Jeremiah?

I heard they have a younger brother, Jerome, who is really good.

Their older sister, Jaromia, tried out for the women’s Olympic team recently.

Parents Jeremy Sr and Jaromanie (lovely people) couldn’t be prouder.

(/s…in case anyone thinks this is real)

Jeremy Fears had a team high 18 points and was a team best +25 at the FIBA U17 World Cup Semifinal win for USA over Lithuania. That kid is going to be a problem.

Brad Underwood fears no kid

Understandable after Schutt transfers to Illinois.
Do you think Duke cares about having two talented shooting guards on its roster? They just go out and grab all the talent. They don’t care about who they are up against. Brad’s got to close if he wants all three.

the odds of getting three kids from the same school is basically nil and people should give up on the idea. In fact, getting two is next to impossible. Thrilled beyond belief we got one of the three. 2 would be a Lotto win. 3 would be winning the Lotto two weeks in a row.

They got a waiver for more than 13 rides? Fully understand that Underwood needs to close on the kids he covets. This isn't a news flash. FWLIW, I don't give a damn what Duke does.

Sergio, Frank, Marcus ring a bell? It’s happened before why not again?

HAVE TO APPRECIATE HANSBERRY’S PRODUCTIVITY

The arc of top 150 power forward Amani Hansberry and his development has been really interesting to watch because faced with a fork in the road of his development he chose to work hard and get better rather than rely on his early reputation.

When the Team Durant and Baltimore (Md.) Mount Saint Joseph first hit the scene as a freshman, he was bigger and stronger than those in his class and could overpower most in the post. He also had a great motor. As the next couple of years passed, his peers caught up to him and his status slipped a little between the end of his freshman and beginning of his junior year.

Lately, Hansberry has been on a tear. He’s gotten into the best shape of his high school career and has really added to his all-around game and fins ways to be productive each and every time out. He will make some jumpers, he is always going to be active on the glass, he’s a terrific passer and he’s sneaky switchable on the defensive end. The guy is just fun to watch because of his smarts and efforts and you have to respect that he always finds ways to be productive.

So far, Hansberry has taken official visits to Boston College, Illinois, Penn State and Virginia Tech. He said he’s got a trip to Miami set up for the end of July and that unless somebody who can really change his mind jumps in and goes all out to get him, he’s probably going to move into decision mode shortly after that visit to Coral Gables.

Nojus seems primed to blow up in ranking with how well he is playing 16 year old AAU and get more schools sniffing around. Hopefully Illinois’s early interest will put them in a good position.

did you say "nil"? as in "Name", "Image" and "Likeness"? 😁

In all seriousness though, I have full confidence in Coach Underwood and his incredible coaching staff to continue to get great players and have success.

Two from one school is definitely doable, and we've done it before. Three, I agree, seems quite unlikely.

side note on today's 16U session title game: Meanstreets opponent, the NY Rens, have a player we recently offered, 6' 9-10" Pang, a Chinese kid. He's good.

Unless they like playing together. They chose to attend St Rita. I am sure any of them would be welcome st any HS in Chicago area or at any bball academy like Compass, la Lumiere etc.
