Kendall Gill having a son old enough to play at Illinois just makes me feel very old. Kendall and I were friends back in school in the 80’s. My ex wife was the manager at Lincoln Lodge where his HS team state in the state finals, I met him then made the flight shirts for him and we have been friend since. Hope he comes to Illinois it would be great to have another Gill play for the Illini!

5 officials between Aug 1 and July 31 of the next year. So he can still take his 5 this month and the clock resets on Aug 1 so he should be fine.

I had one of those flight shirts. I concur with Damonte being the one that made me feel old. My daughter is in Champaign now, so I am good with Kendall having a high schooler.

Well he had visited DePaul prior to commitment according to 24/7. Might have something to do with his “to reclassify or not” decision. If he is leaning more toward staying 2023, probably believes he has better options.

Stats and highlights seem a little underwhelming but they probably have to extend an offer regardless of his ranking....he’s a legacy from one of the best players in the program’s history

I met Kendall Gill last year at an event at St. Ignatius. Very nice guy. I met Mr. Egwu at that same event. Another class act. Both are positive reflections of the Alma Mater with Nnanna also being a great Ignatius alum.
