Top 30 big man James Brown is currently down to 10 schools and took his fifth official visit to Illinois over the weekend. The 6-foot-9, 210 pound four-star from247sports.com

Thanks and Gross but good thing I had the fear center of my brain removed when we got Tim Anderson!!!
How about Duke?
YeahAm I wrong to fear North Carolina the most with brown?
It sounds like he wants to make sure he will have enough ticks in fr year in the program he goes to. He will take time to watch the games this season. Smart kid.Top 30 big man James Brown talks visits

Considering he's a 24 he's got a ton of time. He could be competing with Dainja, Perrin, Hansberry, and Morez for big man minutes in 24.It sounds like he wants to make sure he will have enough ticks in fr year in the program he goes to. He will take time to watch the games this season. Smart kid.

I wouldn’t even worry about Duke.Carolina, Duke, Illinois ... Wouldn't worry about anyone else ...
I'll take Brown at Center, Hansberry and Moretz at the forwards 7 days per week.It sounds like he wants to make sure he will have enough ticks in fr year in the program he goes to. He will take time to watch the games this season. Smart kid.
Yeah. Basically he will be watching/thinking the players who will be at the 4/5 positions. I hope UNC/Duke fills those positions before he done thinking.Considering he's a 24 he's got a ton of time. He could be competing with Dainja, Perrin, Hansberry, and Morez for big man minutes in 24.
Don't forget about Perrin. If these guys are as good as advertised, this is a relatively crowded (but not overly crowded) front court (assuming Dain is gone by then.)I'll take Brown at Center, Hansberry and Moretz at the forwards 7 days per week.
Duke has 3 top 25 PFs coming in next year. We've got Amani Hansberry at 72 and Perrin (probably) unranked. So presumably 3 big men can't get enough time so that they all go pro.Yeah. Morez Johnson says hello.
I agree. Assuming Dain is gone by then, our roster can definitely fit him to perhaps 20+ min. But you know, there are definitely many variables such as the portal.Duke has 3 top 25 PFs coming in next year. We've got Amani Hansberry at 72 and Perrin (probably) unranked. Regardless, star players know, the schools they want to go to are highly likely to already have a lot of talent on the roster. They wouldn't want to go to those schools if they weren't good. You don't get good without good players. So you then need to decide, I'm not going to get 40 mins, but where can I realistically get 20+ mins.
I don't think we have anyone on the roster or coming in, save Morez that should overly concern him if he's as good as his rating indicates. I see no reason why JB shouldn't expect 20ish minutes as a Fr. at Illinois.
I feel like Dain is likely to be here for three years, no? He's definitely not an NBA prospect.I agree. Assuming Dain is gone by then, our roster can definitely fit him to perhaps 20+ min. But you know, there are definitely many variables such as the portal.
With how portal works these days, I really don't expect him to stick for three years but of course, there is a chance.I feel like Dain is likely to be here for three years, no? He's definitely not an NBA prospect.
We could just roll a PG on the floor with JB, Morez, Hansberry and Perrin together
agree and tuff my friend. Hans and Moretz 15 ft and in, Brown dominates low post, Perrin launching 3's and scoring all 3 levels. The pt guard Dray, whatever his name is? Running point! We could just roll a PG on the floor with JB, Morez, Hansberry and Perrin together
