Really don’t like this for 2 reasons …
1. Give cred where it’s due … That is an exact copy and paste … Didn’t even try and cover it up

The only team I remember playing like 10 deep was that 2015ish Kentucky that lost to Wisconsin. They were just straight up doing hockey line changes.

I gotta say…for those that survived the Groce years, the parallel this recruitment is taking to those PG recruitments is uncanny.
Off the top of my head (chronologically):
1. Designation of the target and the staffs high confidence level
2. Reported extreme mutual interest, with GIFs/memes from insiders inspiring confidence in the board
3. Timeframes put out as to when the deal may be done with unknown (but assumed) high levels of confidence
4. Slight delay of those timelines with reports of other schools being involved
5. Complete disappearance of of any sort of a commitment timeline with insider confidence walking back from gifs/memes to more of a “we are in a great position” and “needs to close this deal” narrative
6. Aforementioned schools now coming into the public light and tied to concrete visits
7. Confidence levels RE-inflated when player is on campus. More gifs/memes tied to possible commitment but still waiting for it to be public before the player leaves campus
8. Reports about a done deal leaked on social media and/or this board
9. (If that picture above is RayJ at Ohare) Player has left campus without a public commitment but the staff, and thus insiders, feel confident
10. Board is left with a positive feeling but has the gnawing doubt inside them that they’ve felt before, years ago.
11. Questions circling in board members’ heads. Will the insiders be right? Have they known something they haven’t told us this whole time out of respect for their sources? Or will even they have to look back and figure out where this recruitment turned against us?

I am going to Dallas. My wife wouldn’t let me follow him and I assume his dad.
It is a picture from Ohare this morning. The Toledo gear he is carrying is #10, he is 6’4 or 6’5, and he has very distinctive hair.
