To many students on campus who know their Illini basketball. There have been Ray J sightings by some of these Illini fans/students on campus today. We’ll see.
How would people recognize RayJ? Look at him. He doesn't have any distinguishable features

So... for kicks and giggles, I asked Chat GPT to "write a press release regarding Coleman Hawkins entering the transfer portal." Here's what it came up with:

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Renowned Jazz Saxophonist Coleman Hawkins Enters Transfer Portal

New York, NY - The jazz community was rocked today by the news that legendary saxophonist Coleman Hawkins has entered the transfer portal. Hawkins, who has long been regarded as one of the greatest jazz musicians of all time, announced his decision to seek new opportunities in an emotional statement released earlier today.

"I want to thank all of my fans, friends, and colleagues for their support over the years," Hawkins said in the statement. "It's been an incredible journey, but I feel like it's time for me to explore new musical opportunities and challenge myself in new ways. I'm excited to see what the future holds."

Hawkins, who began his career in the 1920s and played with some of the biggest names in jazz, including Louis Armstrong and Duke Ellington, has been a fixture in the jazz world for decades. His unique style and innovative approach to improvisation have influenced countless musicians and helped to shape the course of jazz history.

While many in the jazz community were surprised by Hawkins' decision, his colleagues and friends expressed their support and admiration for the saxophonist.

"Coleman has always been a trailblazer, pushing the boundaries of what's possible in jazz and inspiring generations of musicians," said fellow saxophonist Sonny Rollins. "I know he'll continue to do great things, and I can't wait to see where his journey takes him next."

Hawkins' decision to enter the transfer portal has sparked speculation about where he might end up next. Some jazz insiders have speculated that he may be considering a move to a different record label, while others have suggested that he could be planning to collaborate with new musicians or explore different musical genres.

Regardless of where his journey takes him, there's no doubt that Hawkins' contributions to the world of jazz will continue to be felt for years to come.

I've been giving my direct reports 2 performance reviews - one that is real, the other from Chat GPT. Fun times...until the end times.

Might not like Omaha? There's all kinds of reasons people transfer.
Yeah I'm sure Omaha is boring, but he plays in Knoxville. He could go to Dollywood every day if he wanted. He could even meet Dolly herself and marvel at her.....talent.

JMO, having 11 guys that can play is great, in theory, but it's overrated. The really good teams go with a solid 8, MAYBE 9 if there's foul trouble. Everyone isn't going to be happy with their PT, which is ok.
Look at the Final Four teams last year. They played 9 guys double digit minutes. I am a huge proponent of playing 10-11 players a game. Wear teams down. We have the depth to play 10 guys a game.

Nobody does that. Here are the NCAA tournament minutes for UConn's 9th guy who "played double digit minutes":

Iona - 11 min
St. Mary's - 5 min
Arkansas - 4 min
Gonzaga - 8 min
Miami - 3 min
SDSU - 1 min

UConn played an 8 man rotation in the NCAA tournament.

Thanks. Just because a guy gets 10+ min once in a while doesn’t necessarily make him part of the regular rotation.
