Truly hope our staff has a better backup than the torn Achilles Iowa State guy. Seems every potential backup option thrown out (Collins, Stevens, Pullin) don’t have mutual interest in us
Staff will get a solid PG. This stings for BU. Tossed all of his eggs in one basket and got burned. Williams is a reallly solid player when healthy. They got their eyes on another guy as well.

Just not a lot of options unfortunately. They got to strike fast.

Listening to the kids on my son's 7U travel team, this accurately reflects where I am in life.
I don't consider a 7U travel team to be a valid judge of with-it-ness. If you model yourself more like Pru you can easily prove them wrong.

There were a lot of 3 boom gifs posted. I believe Lville started hedging saying it was a toss up more recently, but even yesterday there was scoffing at the Baylor buzz from other insiders. Certainly appreciate all of the tidbits we get from insiders and not doubting their sources, but seems like this recruitment had a lot of conflicting info out there and certain insiders were only sharing the orange kool-aid view
I'm sure there's some people pretending to be an Insider for internet points, LVille has been reliable in the past though. I can tell you he was on top of the Domask get earlier this Spring

Options at this point are essentially:
A) Get back in the game with Pullin - we weren't in his final 5, but as we all know "recruiting is fluid"
B) Find a Grad transfer that isn't in the portal yet that might get enough summer credits to graduate, etc.

There really isn't anyone else in the portal currently worth considering

Guys, Brad Underwood himself didn't know Ray J was going to Baylor.

Ray J himself didn't know he was going to Baylor!

Coleman Hawkins made his decision, within himself, literally yesterday.

The idea of inside access gets conflated with this idea that all things are knowable in advance with a sufficient level of savvy.

Reeves is a good player but he's not a PG. IMO he only would have made sense if Terrence stayed in the draft.
Agree - his stats definitely don't scream PG but more main scoring option. This would be a bit disappointing honestly.

Awful look for our staff. If they recover and win next year it won’t matter.

But right now it’s frustrating the way this all went down.
