QG leaving is very more real and likely than Harmon leaving
That might very well be. Who knows? It doesn’t change the fact I never mentioned HARMON at all.

I was meaning ANYONE leaving after we had to HAD TO cream SOMEONE would royally suck. Would it not? That would be a double whammy.

So what’s the story on Trey Woodbury? 6’4 PG who can shoot, good handles and has the ability to play above the rim. Seems just what Illinois is looking for.
And played quite a few games against bigger schools.
Oregon- 24p 9rb 6a
Colorado- 25p 7rb 7a
Cinncinnati- 17p 7rb 6a

Not so good against Wake Forest 6p 6rb 3a and BYU 7p 6rb 3a

For good measure, had a triple dub against BU's old team SFA with 11p 11rb 11a

His turnovers are somewhat high. But all in all would probably be a good fit.

Sorry, just one more I feel the need to throw out.

Lville, Indy, DBHeadband, you guys rock. Love your insight and loyalty to the program and us readers.

This fanbase is what make's me love the Orange and Blue that much more.

I haven't been around as long as many of you ('89 brought me on board), but wow, what a great fanbase that can enjoy the off-season, recruiting, etc, just as much as every single game.

Coach Small and our golf team gave us all something to be proud of, Brett and CO. are less than 100 days away, and then Coach Green and Coach Underwood's teams take the court again.

It's such a great time to be an Illini fan. Keep up the great work Mr. Whitman!

Stop it. I didn’t mean you, I meant people in general saying that

You obviously have never coached. It takes time. You preach what you want and expect as a coach and it takes time. Brad turned this program around very quickly and now we're competitive and everyone wants this title immediately or wants hi gone. Let's go with your approach and start all over. I bet that works out well! He's dealing with a lot of things that have changed since COVID, portals, etc. I'm damn proud to have him. If you're an Illini fan you should be too!
lol no you recruit what you want and build a roster how you want it. I appreciate what Brad has done for this program. I’m not saying start all over, but this program is still suffering the Loyola loss.. and the Ayo sell is getting further and further into the past.. there’s absolutely no excuse to leave yourself this vulnerable to another season without a lead guard. There’s 360 some D1 schools out there and not one of them wanted Jeremiah Williams and yet our great title contending roster could go to waste because hes supposed to facilitate.. how many minutes did he play last year?? Torn Achilles is way more serious than an acl.. wonder if he has a “nothing happened” tattoo on the back of his calf

10-15 years from now, when there's another EJ, Cliff, RayJ, this will go down in "Everything's fine, goodnight" loral. Just think how boring our lives might have been if RayJ picked Illinois :ROFLMAO:
Heck think about how boring TONIGHT would've been LOL

Just when I thought the lack of excitement would make me get some real caffeine we roll right through another great controversy giving a boost to that excitement.

Are we in free fall yet? That is what I am waiting for. Entropy!!!!!!

Dennis may or may not be a stud at Baylor. But a funny thing to ponder is that if you take away the Michigan game in the NIT, if BU's non-con schedule had the 11 best teams left from Toledo's schedule last season, this board would have a total meltdown because of how weak that schedule would be.

Quote and comment if you must. However, it's just a very true observation that I found interesting.

I'm not arguing that Williams has risk with the Achilles injury. No doubt about it. But you don't build a roster you want. That's foolish. You fight for what you can get! You don't get what you want at this level. These are the best college coaches in the country fighting to get the players they want. Again, you obviously haven't coached. Underwood is a solid coach and we'd be stupid to dump him after what he's done overall for our program. Brad brought the facilities and the money. What's your strategy. Dump Brad and who do we get? Do we get a guy who immediately gets NBA players? A guy that goes to the dance 4 straight years? A guy that wins a conference title after we were sooooooo bad? A guy that wins a conference tournament? A guy that recruits character guys? We don't talk about that enough. You know the guys that quit/leave early on? They are bad character guys and Underwood is willing to let them go. That's very important and people don't talk about that enough. We'd be crazy to let Underwood go and/or bash rim right now!

In the grand scheme of things, I haven't been on here too long but, I've gotta say, there has been a flourishing of young insiders this past week like I've never seen before.

Long live Loyalty!!!!!
