Probably because some people still act like a teenager with their dad's Playboy they found in the garage. Then they bring it to school and show their friends in the back of class, like they are super cool.

Some of the class is indifferent. Some think ok, cool, but let's find a better place to look at it, because it doesn't pertain to our class, and some are offended.

Maybe it was funny or cool the first time, but now it is mostly annoying. Mostly because it is 2023, not 1973, and you can go find whatever you want in seconds on your own and don't need to share it on a basketball forum.

Yeah. If you’re curious you can basically look up any interesting person/thing that comes up on the internet. I did an image search on one of the “models” and found that duplicates of that image, such as the one shared on this board, were linked to c0rn websites.

It would be nice to have a board where you can read about basketball and not have to scroll through pics of corn stars. Some people need to move on from the degrading magazines…they really really do.

Jeff Van Gundy aka Lord Van Gundy. During the Coach search when Bill Self left, many a poster were pushing for Van Gundy to take the reins. I forget how “Lord” specifically came to be though.

I don't want to ignore pru (or anyone) because sometimes he does have funny or insightful things to say. Those ignoring, especially en masse, are just creating an echo chamber for themselves. At this point, there is nothing going on in recruiting, I hope you have a great weekend and 4th!
