If Ty can continue to progress into more than just a serviceable point guard, I imagine that would become a very strong recruiting tool. Brad can already point to the development of transfers, then add to that successfully building on an entirely new skill set for a long term guy.

I would really love to see Ty figure out how to shoot next year.

If he figures out a shot … He’ll be headed to the league …

Had an NBA scout text me last night that Ty is the most aggressive guy he’s seen on the offensive glass … Called him a heat seeking missile …

And every single NBA scout goes back to tell their GM about Fletch … Literally never fails … They’re amazed how these guys look and run … Our guys can nearly all go the full 40 minutes if we need them to …I get calls about Fletch on the weekly … We’re so blessed to have that dude … Josh is just gonna give a blank check when he’s ready for another extension … 😂😎

Recruits enjoyed the show last night … Hearing some positive things regarding Chuck Love … He really enjoyed the show …

Chester made sure Kaden Magwood saw the performance … 😎

Fears is on his OV to Providence this weekend … They really like Kim English (as do I) … Kim & Chester are buddies as well …

I don't like typing this while talking about another man, but you can see the thickness starting to come to DGL. Fletch is going to have Amani looking like a beast next year.

TS has flourished under BU--that's definitely who they should tout when recruiting players.

It’s so true. Our guys never looked gassed

We are spoiled by Fletch. Our guys all look cut out of stone. Nick Honor and Curt Lewis looked like they’ve been drinking doughnut smoothies…

Appreciate the insights as always! Hope that blank check keeps him here and he loves Champaign but getting our S&C coach "drafted by the Nba" (which it seems like your implying) should net us a worthy replacement if it comes to that.

Was looking at the previous recruiting thread about starters for next year. It is assumed that Hawkins will leave but if he's not a 2nd round pick, and it's looking like he might not be, wouldn't returning be a very strong option for him? NIL money for him would be very competitive with his non-NBA options.

Feel like Fletch has really grown into the role over the years. Seemed like initially they were too worried about bulk and have gradually worked into focusing on flexibility and explosiveness while adding some size.

Brad told Fletch here’s what I want our guys to be like … Fletch said okay, here’s what I’ll need …Then Brad went to Josh and said here’s what Fletch needs to make us elite … Josh said okay here’s a check for the equipment you need to do it … Get to work …

Now we all get to enjoy … 😎

Seriously though … You won’t find a better weight room/recovery set up than the one we’ve got … Josh & Brad hooked Fletch up big time …

The camera zoomed in on TSJ last night in the second half and it didn’t even look like he was sweating. Elite.

Fletch and Alan Bishop (Houston) for my money are the best 2 in college BB. Our extras in our facilities blow Houston’s out of the water though.

If you’re into that kind of thing, give both a follow on IG. You will learn a ton.

Alan is a good dude … 👍🏻

For those who always love Fletch before / after … Here’s one Alan sent me of LJ Cryer (we were his 2nd choice) … Kid was at Baylor before Houston … So not like he was at a mid major where they didn’t have the HM equipment …

Check out the difference …

I always like the unflexed ”before” and flexed “after” photos.

I love Ty because he is a winner, team player and doing what is best for the team to win. He utilizes his strengths which I do like about him.

Thought the same with any kind of shot and being able to handle a trap. Bunch of times on the perimeter he passes without giving the defense a reason to play him at all. I would love for him to throw up a 10-15 footer once in awhile to keep the defense honest. He is a threat in the post and crashing the boards but better teams can scout his non-perimeter game from a mile away. He can be a X-FACTOR if his perimeter game ever awakens.......FT% is blah and one career 3 point attempt
