I used 3 different search engines and it let me vote each time.
To me, rankings changes reflect trajectory. I’d much rather have a kid that rises from #152 to #95 than a kid that falls from #40 to #80 - even though the rankings say that the #80 kid is “better”.
Small tangent - remember when we all used to complain that rankings services are biased against Illinois and intentionally lower our commits’ rankings (probably sounds crazy to new posters but this was a real narrative during the Groce years). In hindsight, I think this said more about our player evaluation abilities in the past than it said about a hypothetical ranking service bias. I’m just happy that we’ve got great evaluators on our coaching staff now.

The station I work for covered the Benet vs Thornton game on Saturday night. Morez looked great. It was a quieter game for Gabe Sularski but you can see how skilled he is.
Actually, both guys were slightly overshadowed by higher scoring teammates with Isaiah Green leading Thornton with 26 and Blake Fagbemi scoring 19 for Benet. A fun matchup for sure!
