That caught my attention too. Love the tie dye button down too.
Just like the NCAA, I preferred the IHSA conferences before realignment. HF alum, I remember the intense rivalries with these neighboring schools. Like a lot of IL high schools now, HF’s new conference makes no geographical sense and destroyed those area rivalry bragging rights.

Central State 8 has something like 10 schools these days. The Big Ten (or 12) of high school conferences
HF is now in “Southwest suburban blue” with only 5 schools in Bolingbrook, Lockport, Flossmoor, Frankfort, Orland. If you know the area, it’s a weird spread. Wacky conference alignments and yearly transfers, it’s like NCAA for children.

Missing the Thornton Fractionals. Why we were never with our Thorny brothers always confused me.
A lot of those kids will likely stay depending on the direction Ohio State goes ...

The whole conference is just a mess. It's really a 13-school conference with 3 terribly designed pods existing as the actual conferences. There are like 6 schools that make perfect sense to be together, and then there's HF and Lockport who are kind of far, but like still sort of close enough for the conference to make sense and work. Then it gets bad with 3 schools that should be in a Naperville-centered conference but aren't, and just to put the cherry on top, Bradley and Dekalb are just randomly tossed in.
I'll stop there because this is a recruiting thread and I don't want to risk derailing it to talk about the insanity that is the existence of the SWSC
